We invite surgeons to submit an abstract for oral or poster presentations in the area of surgical field. To be part of the scientific program you have to submit an abstract that will be reviewed be our committee.

Abstract title

  • Should be concise and clearly describe your study.
  • Must not exceed 12 words.
  • Only capitalise the first letter of the first word in the title, like you would in a sentence, and any proper nouns such as Countries or project names.
  • Do not use full stops in the title.

Author names and affiliations

  • Up to 15 authors and affiliations may be included on each abstract.
  • All authors must have consented to the abstract submission.

Abstract text

  • Must not exceed 300 words (excluding the Title, Authors, and Affiliations).
  • Do not enter the abstract title or authors' details in this section.
  • Do not reference institution names, locations, graphics, tables or funding sources in the abstract.
  • Graphics and tables cannot be submitted as part of your abstract.
  • Start the sentences for each heading on the same line as the heading.
